GREETINGS FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES!!!!

Welcome to the Darci Monet message board! This little spot has been set up specifically as a place for people to discuss my "Working Musician's Review" articles, as I have posted on Elitestv.com and the Rockstar: INXS and American Idol message boards in the past. Eventually there will be other places to discuss all sorts of news a la moi, but I figure most are here for one thing and that's my reviews, so that's where we'll start.

Before you post here, there are a few things you should know.

THIS IS NOT A BOARD THAT PROMOTES WHAT SOME THINK OF AS "FREE SPEECH". Sorry!

Now don't freak out quite yet. You are absolutely welcome to disagree with my reviews or with another poster - and you do not have to like my music or think I'm particularly talented to post here. But when disagreeing you will do so with intelligence, maturity and reason and you will engage in only FRIENDLY debate. There is absolutely NO MINDLESS BASHING, NO PERSONAL ATTACKS AND NO SPREADING RUMORS allowed here - of anyone or anything for any reason. If you break this most important rule, you will absolutely be banned from posting here by me or a moderator, and you won't get a second chance. Period.

This probably sounds very strict, but it's really not. Basically if you're about to post something that could potentially hurt your feelings or anger you if it were written about you...then just don't post it. Easy as pie. Basic human decency.

Also, no politics or religion discussions. There are plenty of other boards for that.

All that said, I hope you will all trust me and my moderators to be as fair as possible in monitoring this board (anyone on the Rockstar or AI boards can attest that if I am anything, it's fair) and I thank you sincerely for your cooperation and understanding in these matters. If you are unclear as to what's acceptable here, there is another post in this section called Examples: Constructive Criticism vs. Bashing to help clear it up.
